I'm an actress, a skincare rebel, and the founder of Melillo.

Almost ten years ago, I was filming a television series in an incredibly cold, dry part of North America. My skin became reactive, sensitive, dehydrated and impossible to work with. My makeup looked cracked and dull on camera and I found myself trying one expensive product after another.

I kept finding formulas filled with preservatives and promises that never seemed to deliver. 

So, like any goddess who had reached her limit, I decided to do it myself.

I began studying botanical ingredients, experimenting with small batches, and creating simple formulas that focused on nourishing the skin rather than overwhelming it. Those early blends became Melillo. The products that I still use every single day.

For nearly a decade now I've chosen to trust nature over trends. While the beauty industry often tells us we need more, more steps, more products, more procedures, I’ve found that simplicity is in fact key. It’s my belief that our beauty does not need fixing, it simply deserves nourishing.

My biggest, most rebellious secret: We can have it all. We can have hydrated, healthful, glowing skin. We can get the compliments and the raised eyebrows from our doctors while they tell us our skin is so healthy that it looks a decade younger than our numerical age. We can achieve this without stress. We don't have to fear aging. We can welcome every season of life with skin that reflects how well we've cared for ourselves.
